One Fast Baby!

Man was this was kid fast! Put him down and --- zoom --- off he was. I guess it makes sense. His mother IS a triathlete. The mom, Sara, was the first person to trust me to take pics of her kids and I will forever be grateful to her for that. So Sara, I hope you like these. I think I have improved a little since our first time ... ;-)

I attended my son Peter's Mother's Day Tea at his preschool. He was so happy to have me there (I guess there is a reason why I call him my "velcro kid"). The kids served us moms tea and cookies, although most of the moms didn't get any cookies ... they were grabbed by all of our servers! It was very cute and I can't wait to do it again when Anna is eventually in school.

Peter is in the center of this photo.

He was so proud!

I was at the local sports field with my son for his weekly sports class. A bunch of my friends kids are also in the class so we sit around for an hour shooting the breeze with our little ones. Naturally I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try my new (and fabulous!) lens on the little ones (who were all girls) waiting for the big brothers to finish. Each one is definitely cuter than the other!

My friend Vanessa came over for some headshots. Of COURSE while she was in the bathroom changing I grabbed her daughter for some quick pictures. Quick is operative the word ... Juju was interested for all of 1 minute and then went straight for the kiddie kitchen that was right behind the backdrop ... c'est la vie!

I took pictures today at Ryan's 5th birthday party. It was quite a shindig (from a 5 year old's point of view!) There was a bounce house, real live animals to touch, a pinata, a cake with a dinosaur that popped out of it and all the accoutrements the kiddie set loves. Ryan had a great time, the animals were well behaved (except the occasional "gift") and fun was had by all. Happy birthday Ryan!

Michael had his first game of the season and it was actually not too bad .... he hated T-ball last season, but a year later I think he has grown and actually liked playing this time. Perhaps having his best friend on his team might have something to do with his change of attitude ...

The game was great, up until the last inning, when Michael was hit in the head with a bat in the dugout. Many tears, bags of ice, donuts and a huge lump on his forehead later, and all was well.
